Ég fann hvergi upplýsingar um hvaða drif eru með NCQ (Native Command Queueing) fídusinum á heimasíðu Seagate þannig að ég sendi þeim email.

Hello Jakob,

The ST3160827AS is a 160GB, NCQ enabled drive.

The first new SATA technology feature is Native Command Queuing. (A
similar function has been available on SCSI and Fibre Channel products.)
With NCQ, SATA drives can execute and prioritize multiple read/write
commands on their own, saving CPU cycles and storing or retrieving data
faster.

The enabling of the NCQ feature requires an NCQ capable Controller. We
know of no manufacturers with NCQ capable Controllers at this date. The
Controller designs are late getting released as the codes have been
difficult to finalize.

The ST3160827AS is the only NCQ capable drive on the market. Seagate will
release larger capacity NCQ drives in late September.

You will need to inquire to the Controller manufacturers for release dates
for their products.
