Good day! I am having another baby and I am also moving back to Sweden in April so I am putting up my computer for sale so I don’t have to go through the mess of transporting it and the screen to Sweden. (And the money doesn't hurt when you get a new kid.
) I will give any eventual buyer my Swedish contact information so you can reach me after I move and also the contact information for a Icelandic friend here in case of any issues. There is no issues with the computer at all but I feel I want to assure any potential buyer/s that I am not just leaving the country after the sale and leaving you high and dry.I am selling everything I have and if you buy the whole package I will give an extra good price on that. But I am somewhat flexible in the sale and can pick some parts out to sell separately.
If you have an interest in buying my computer you are more than welcome to come and try it out and look at it and check out the screen and yea. I don’t know. Run some benchmarks on it or try some games on it or whatever. The computer is in my sons room (where I actually sit is in the living room, I use 5m cables run through the wall.) so as long as my son is not asleep any time during the day/evening should be good for me.
After an incident here on vaktin where I backed out of an offer after agreeing to it and getting told that was a trash move by the community here I have learnt my lesson. If I agree with you on a price and say something like “Yes. it's yours” I am not going to back out of it. With that said I reserve myself the right to sell to whoever I want even if someone is offering a higher price etc. But yes. If I agree to a price I will stick by it!
The oldest part of this computer is bought around August/September of 2016 except for one of the 240gb SSDs which is pretty old. I am not even sure how old. I´ll remove a huge chunk of the price on that one. But it got no issues or errors or anything like that. So the oldest parts (except for the SSD) is about 1.5 years old.
The processor is overclocked to 4.7GHz and stable. It was stable on 4.8 as well but I didn't want to raise the Vcore too much so I was happy with 4.7. I can remove the overclock if the person buying it prefer it at stock. It is cooled by Corsair H110i with 4 fans so it is well cooled.
I have receipts/mail confirmation or something equal from everything bought in Sweden which is most of the computer. Probably not that many receipt from the stuff I bought after that though. I still have the box for the computer and for the big screen.
The big screen, mouse and the keyboard is bought in Germany through an Icelandic computer store one year ago. Note that the keyboard has German symbols on them. I can post a picture if that helps. The screens menu language is English.
On the radiator I have changed the fans to four Noctua fans running with low speed adaptors in a push/pull configuration because I think the original fans run too loud. I use one of them as an exhaust fan in the top of the case and the other you will just get separately in a box.
So, I am willing to sell all the extended gear like the mouse , keyboard, headset and screen separately from the computer but prefer to sell as a whole package of course. And as I said. I will give a better price for anyone buying the whole package.
I will consider selling the GTX 1080 as a stand alone sale. And I am also willing to sell the computer without the Samsung 960 500gb SSD. I actually wouldn't mind just keeping it for myself so if you want to buy the computer without it it is perfectly fine. And you will still get the better price if buying everything without the 960.
I have tried to find links to what I am selling. Note that this is not where I bought it is just the cheapest price for it I could find in Iceland. And where I couldn't find an Icelandic link I just took a Swedish store. Which is cheaper than the asked price here in Iceland.
The small screen has a small scratch on it and is a bit old I will just include it in the price if I have a buyer for the whole package. Works great as a secondary monitor and main monitor if you are not a picky gamer.
The LG 34UC79G is an Ultra Wide Monitor with the resolution of 2560x1080 @144hz and 1ms response time and I absolutely love it. It only has freesync and not G-sync which is a shame. But I have only had screen tearing in one game and that was Skyrim (and I play a lot of games). Not super obvious but I would have prefered it not to be there. The screen is a beast and it has convinced me to never go back to non-Ultra wide screens. Really nice in games like PUBG where you actually see more on the sides. And RPGs like The Witcher looks so good in Ultra Wide. (Sorry for the sales pitch i just really love it.
) No dead pixels and no noticeable BLB. As I said, feel more than welcome to come check it out!I think that is all I wanted to say. I am happy to answer any questions you might have.
So the total price for the complete package in stores, lowest prices I could find is 445.140 ISK (Not including the secondary monitor and big discount on the old SSD and an old HDD) and removing 35% of that price it lands on 289.000 ISK which I think is a fair price. If the consensus here is that it is too expensive I am willing to discuss the price. But it feels like a good price. And if you find one of the products cheaper here in Iceland than I have listed I am willing to adjust that to.
Legal Windows 10 Pro installed. You get the key included in the sale without any cost. I will keep my installation until someone buys it so people can come and test it out in games and so on.
End note is that I love this computer and if nothing else I will just keep it. But it would be less headache to just sell it here and not transport it to Sweden so hopefully someone wants to buy it. That is all. Wall of text over.
